We’re inching closer to what is definitely one of the biggest highlights of the year for us at Rocketlane - Propel22! It’s the first-ever conference for customer onboarding and implementation professionals. It’s also our maiden Propel event.

What is Propel?

When we started building Rocketlane, we realized that few resources were available on customer onboarding and implementation. What was available was either generic, obsolete, or both. We have been changing that with our resources such as blogs, podcasts, webinars, and our community Preflight. Propel is a natural progression in that direction.

Propel is a global annual conference (virtual for now) for professionals and experts in the customer onboarding and software implementation space, especially in the SaaS industry. The goal is to bring together the brightest minds in the industry to foster learning, change, growth, and community.

When and where will Propel happen?

Propel22 is scheduled to happen March 15-16, 2022. It will be a virtual conference, and you can sign up for it here.

Who is Propel for?

Propel is the place to be for anyone in the customer onboarding, customer success, implementation, and professional services spaces. We have fireside chats, keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops for people in the following categories:

  1. Early-stage companies for which founders or a customer success team handle customer onboarding
  2. Series B+ businesses for which there are typically separate onboarding or implementation teams
  3. Unicorns or large companies with significant professional services teams that handle customer onboarding and ongoing delivery for customers

What can you expect to learn from Propel?

Propel is where customer onboarding and implementation leaders and practitioners from around the world will converge for two days of knowledge-sharing and networking.

Propel attendees will learn best practices, tips, and innovative ideas that they can employ to transform their onboarding teams from cost centers to strategic differentiators. This will provide them with an enduring competitive advantage, inspiring the confidence of their prospects and customers.

FAQs

“Speeds up CSV importing and saves me from having to get customers to use a template file or create mapped data exports. Quick to integrate and flexible outside the happy path. We found defining workbooks and templates confusing; at a prior job it was configured through code, which I preferred.”

Myth

Enterprise implementations fail because customers don’t follow the process or provide clean data on time. Most delays are purely “customer-side” issues.

Fact

Implementations fail because complex environments need real-time technical problem-solving. FDEs unblock workflows, integrations, and unknown constraints that traditional onboarding teams can’t resolve on their own.

Did you Know?

Companies that embed engineers directly with customers see significantly higher enterprise retention compared to traditional post-sales models — because embedded engineers uncover “unknowns” that never surface in ticket queues.
